Molly Tarlov (born November 11, 1981) is an American actress, best known since 2011 for her role as Sadie Saxton on the television comedy-drama series Awkward. Tarlov was the eldest of two girls was born and raised within Manhattan, New York. When she was a ten-year-old Tarlov was a character in her role as Mrs. Peterson as part of a Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was highly acclaimed by the audience of seven graders. She studied at Paris at NYU Tisch, and took part in summer camps during her teenage years at Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College is where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts (theatre) and studied a range of different acting styles. The Atlantic Theater Company, in which she was a participant as well, taught her how to integrate acting and writing in The LAByrinth Theater's Master Course. Molly removed her winter coat and bought a pair glasses in black on her way to Los Angeles. It wasn't long before she landed a 3-word role in iCarly, which attracted the attention from her family members. She has since done several TV appearances, and also played the character of Caitlin on Winnie Holzman, Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family show Huge. Molly believes she's good in basketball, but she actually isn't. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
