April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4, 1995. When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing guitar and piano lessons, sparking her love for music writing. When April was 12 when she wrote her first single, Different. When she was 14, April spent much time writing and honed her music skills. In the following years, she took writing trips together with her dad to LA in addition to NY. The month also saw her include different topics related to some of her classmates who struggle with such things as bullying by peers and teen suicide in the song"Take my Hand. Lockhart works in partnerships at the well-known clean beauty brand Ilia and is also a lifestyle influencer with a huge following of her own. Her birthplace didn't come with a left hand, and that is why she's the person she is. However, that's not all the facts. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't conceal the fact that she is disabled however, it doesn't concentrate on the fact that she is disabled. What message does it convey? The message? We have many different aspects, that our identity and physical selves are not all that they appear. Lockhart, via video messages from his Nashville home, says that I do not want that to be a part of myself. I'm much greater than the physical person I am. This doesn't interfere with my daily life. Everything is normal and I've learned how to adjust. The same is true for my life, and I think it should be discussed. Her journey to self-acceptance is one that will last an entire lifetime. She is an inspiration with regard to this. She admits that she has gone through phases where she was uncomfortable dressing in certain styles that displayed her arms. Nowadays, she dresses what she's comfortable in and post pictures of herself in these outfits on social media, she is proud of herself. For her, self-love is always a lengthy journey. This is, however, the case with anyone who has insecurities. I believe that it's really important to surround yourself with those who can identify and feel your heart.
