Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, the French city of Puy-deDomme on August 9, 1976. Audrey is the largest child in a family of four. Audrey's parents, both a dental dentist and teacher, were aware of and supported their daughter's enthusiasm for drama and theater at the age of a stage novice. This support is more than enough for Audrey to thwart her initial desire to become the first primatologist. There was an immediate rise for her to become an internationally renowned young actress. Photography is another obsession and she was recently shown her work at the Arles festival, under the title Superficial. Her photographs are largely about the spotlight and fame. Amelie is an international box office success and recognized at many awards festivals around the globe. It's the highest-grossing French film to be released in the United States. After the film, she appeared in many films that ranged from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
