Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci was born on November 12, 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti), Romania. Nadia is the Romanian Olympic gymnast and she has the record of being recognized with 10/10 scores during an Olympic competition. Bela Karalyi came across Comaneci at the age of six. Later, she would become the Romanian gymnastics coach. Her first competition was at the national junior championships of 1969, finishing 13th. She took the title in 1970. At her first international meet, which was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition for nations in the Communist bloc, she was awarded three gold medals. And in 1973 and 1975, she won crowned all-around Junior Champion. In 1975, she took home four golds and one silver in her first senior international competition. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European champion. The year was 1976 when she won the American Cup at the New York City Olympics and became the first woman ever to remove the bars in parallel with the double backward salto. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. When she was in her teens she was performing on touring shows like Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol's career began in entertainment during her teenage year. She started her career as a model skater with her sister Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around called Ice Capades. The shows were skaters who were performed to music from the stage.
